Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Rockford, Illinois. In this role, you will provide essential support across various administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations and organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily administrative tasks, including emails, scheduling, and filing

Handle incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency

Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other documents as needed

Accurately enter data into various databases and spreadsheets

Identify and correct data entry errors

Maintain data files and ensure data integrity

Assist with data entry projects as needed

Uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive information responsibly

Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming office environment

Creating and maintaining accurate sensitive employee and company records and gathering all related documentation and key details

Participate in the execution of HR-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements - Proven experience in administrative roles with a focus on attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Ability to manage and analyze data accurately for reporting purposes.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to handle calls and email correspondence effectively.

Familiarity with tracking systems for vehicle repairs, expenses, and related data.

Demonstrated ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently.

Experience in customer service, showcasing patience and professionalism.
