Position Summary The credit and Collection Specialist will be a member of the finance team and will assist the finance department with more tasks pertaining to the department's operations and management. The position will report directly to the CFO and will be supervised by the accounts receivable specialist. Responsibilities - Monitor the company's accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts. - Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect the overdue amount or negotiate a payment plan to collet it in installments. - Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers as well as records of any payments collected from the customer. - Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing. - Work closely with accounts receivable specialist regarding daily incoming deposits. - Maintain accurate AR aging reports. - Assist with creation of new BP's, ensure all customer information, such as tax information, address etc., is accurate before entering. - Maintain the current BP's in the system for accuracy, perform maintenance on existing BP's - Daily invoice review to check for accuracy, such as credit terms of all invoices. Correct mistakes. - COD invoice review. - Run monthly customer statements, review, and add finance charges if applicable and mail. - Additional duties as assigned by manager

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
