Flight/Project Engineering Support
Assist the Government as a flight test engineer for developmental test efforts.
Assist the Government in performing all facets of flight testing, from initial planning and operations through execution, data collection, reduction and analysis, report writing and recommendations to ensure on-time completion.
Assist the Government and provide advisory, review, or draft documentation for development of test plans and safety packages generated by the USAF, prime weapon system Contractor, and associated Contractors. This support shall include, but not limited to, attending test planning working groups and test interface meetings.
Assist the Government in interfacing with various test organizations to support test and safety plan approvals, communicate program office priorities and work daily scheduling issues.
Assist the Government in interfacing with the prime Contractor and subcontractors to support the prioritization and scheduling of test item modifications, maintenance and flight test requirements.
Assist the Government in the review and identifying of potential issues relating to modification packages for air vehicles, ground control stations, and other support equipment.
Assist the Government in facilitating scheduling of unique test resources for such efforts to include, but not limited to, range, weapons, etc.
Assist the Government in supporting long-term scheduling of flight test activities.
Assist the Government in reviewing proposals for validity, and identifying potential discrepancies relating to flight test requirements.
Assist the Government in supporting program and other PMs by providing test advice, recommending priorities, performing resource planning and identifying constraints, and recommending inputs into deficiency identification and correction actions.
Assist the Government in planning/executing system configurations and troubleshoot those configurations to support required sorties.
Assist the Government in assessing and/or evaluating both subjective and objective data acquired through test execution.
Assist the Government in the development of briefings and reports as required to update program leadership on progress.
Provide advisory assistance to the Government in support of any UAS incidents that require Safety and Accident Investigations.
Assist the Government as a project engineer for developmental test efforts.
Assist the Government in their function as a focal point for Flight Test Operations project execution, implementing management procedures and controls. The Contractor shall provide advisory support and recommend project execution focus areas.
Assist the Government in supporting long-term scheduling of flight test activities.
Provide advisory assistance to the Government in their function of providing oversight and progress reporting support to ensure on-time completion.
Participate as an advisor in support of test meetings and planning sessions.
Provide advisory support to the Government for the review and coordination of test plans, safety packages and flight cards with all appropriate agencies with the goal to reduce or eliminate test redundancies between Developmental Test (DT) /Operational Test (OT) / Force Development (FDE) and to safely complete the project test. The Contractor shall identify potential issues or areas for improvement and make recommendations to the Government for consideration.
Provide advisory and draft documentation support for the development and presentation of test reports.
Provide advisory support and participate in ground and flight tests to include DT, OT, Joint Operation Test and Evaluation (JOT&E) and FDE testing.
Provide support by monitoring the various tests. The Contractor shall identify risks and provide advisory support to the customer by recommending potential mitigation strategies to ensure all flight tests are accomplished and on-time.
Provide advisory assistance to facilitate problem-solving and collaboration. The Contractor shall provide recommendations for Government consideration geared to optimize any -Course of Action- managing personnel and equipment to ensure all flight tests are accomplished and are on time.
Provide advisory assistance to the Government in the Government-s effort to manage employment of project resources. The Contractor shall identify potential shortfalls and provide recommendations to the Government for consideration.
Provide advisory assistance to support the Government-s function of coordinating aircraft maintenance, modifications and test article configurations in accordance with approved modification practices and procedures.
Provide advisory and draft documentation assistance to the Government by collecting, assessing and/or evaluating both subjective and objective data acquired through test execution. The Contractor shall identify potential issues and make recommendations for Government consideration.
Provide advisory and draft documentation assistance for the development of potential options for reducing the program test cycles while maintaining quality and high confidence levels in finished products. The Contractor shall make recommendations to the Government for consideration.
Provide advisory assistance to the Government in support of any UAS incidents that require Safety and Accident Investigations.
Assist the Government in facilitating scheduling of unique test resources for such efforts to include, but not limited to, range, weapons, etc.
