Job Title :3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The role involves working from 10:55 pm to 7:10 am, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime on weekends. The successful candidate will initially receive training on the first shift for a few weeks before transitioning to the 3rd shift schedule long-term. The primary responsibility is to perform skilled maintenance on injection molding machines, auxiliary support, and automation equipment, ensuring the facility and infrastructure remain in excellent condition.

Hours : 10:55 pm to 7:10 am, Monday through Friday (training would occur on 1st shift for a few weeks until confident working solo)

Pay : $35-46.00 per hour based off relating skills and experience.

Responsibilities :

Observe all safety rules and regulations and perform duties safely and efficiently.

Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.

Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventative maintenance actions.

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them.

Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers.

Assemble, install, or repair any equipment, machinery, components, etc.

Ensure reliable attendance.

Perform other duties as assigned at management's discretion.

Essential Skills:

Injection Mold Maintenance Experience

Basic Welding/Fabricating

Experience with Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic systems, basic electrical experience, Schematic, PLC troubleshooting

Industrial Fabrication and Maintenance repair

The work environment is within an Injection Mold Company. The role involves operating and maintaining state-of-the-art equipment and tools, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.

This is a Permanent directly hired position based out of Waukegan, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Candidates with large tonnage machine/injection molding maintenance experience preferred

Ability to follow written and verbal instruction

Must be able to communicate to others, as well as be able to receive communication from others

Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction and repair

May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing/pulling of parts

May be required to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to lift 45 pounds

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Waukegan,IL 60085.
