Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Ronkonkoma, New York. In this role, you will oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while managing a small team. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the accounts receivable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Manage a team of up to three employees, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.

Monitor and manage aging reports to ensure collection targets are met and outstanding balances are addressed.

Implement and maintain effective cash application processes to optimize financial workflows.

Supervise commercial collections activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Prepare and review billing functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.

Collaborate with other departments to address discrepancies and improve processes related to accounts receivable.

Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into accounts receivable performance and trends.

Foster strong relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments and resolve disputes.

Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with a proven track record in managing teams.

Proficiency in accounts receivable processes, including billing, cash applications, and collections.

Strong ability to analyze and manage aging reports effectively.

Excellent leadership skills, with experience in supervising and developing team members.

Solid understanding of commercial collections practices and procedures.

Strong communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and other departments.

Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to accounts receivable.

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
