Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Chatsworth, California. This is a long-term contract role, ideal for someone with a strong background in managing cash applications, commercial collections, and billing processes. Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate posting.

Perform cash applications and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.

Handle commercial collections by communicating with clients to resolve overdue accounts.

Generate and review billing statements to ensure compliance with company policies.

Monitor daily cash activity and prepare reports summarizing financial data.

Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve payment issues.

Maintain detailed documentation of all accounts receivable activities for audit purposes.

Assist in implementing improvements to streamline billing and collection processes.

Ensure adherence to company guidelines and compliance with financial regulations. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.

Proficiency in handling cash applications and managing collections processes.

Strong knowledge of billing functions and financial reconciliation.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and resolving payment issues.

Familiarity with financial software and tools used for accounts receivable tasks.

High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
