Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, on a contract basis. This hybrid position requires a dedicated individual who can efficiently handle invoice processing, coding, and payment tasks. The role combines remote work with on-site responsibilities three days a week.

Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Assign appropriate codes to invoices to ensure proper accounting treatment.

Conduct regular check runs to facilitate timely payment to vendors.

Manage invoice approvals and track their progress through the system.

Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.

Communicate with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and answer inquiries.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Support audits by providing documentation and clarifications related to accounts payable.

Assist in improving processes for greater efficiency and accuracy. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and coding.

Proficiency in handling check runs and managing payment schedules.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.

Ability to effectively communicate with vendors and internal teams.

Familiarity with accounts payable systems and tools.

Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

Availability to work on-site three days per week as required.
