As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere at a well-known hotel and suites location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding to any situations as they arise. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the hotel, suites, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Assist guests and staff with directions, information, and general inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
Document incidents and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
Collaborate with hotel management and staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for all guests and visitors.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
A valid Guard Card is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
