As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service through professional communication and support. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related situations as they arise, and work closely with site staff to address any concerns. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or conditions to appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and directions as needed.
Document and communicate any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
