Job Description

What you will do: Join our dynamic team as a Software Test Engineer Intern and support system-level testing of embedded controls for advanced Chiller Applications. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in embedded software testing while contributing to innovative and impactful projects.

How you will do it: Collaborate with senior engineers to perform system-level testing of embedded software for Chiller control systems, following established standards and best practices. Develop, maintain, and execute test artifacts, including test plans, procedures, reports, and manual test scripts. Conduct functional and regression testing based on pre-defined methods and setups. Assist with the identification, documentation, and management of software defects, and coordinate their resolution, generating relevant statistics and reports. Participate actively in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, sharing insights and progress updates. Support the creation, installation, and validation of test software builds. Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned in support of overall testing goals.

What we look for: Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree (junior level or above) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline at a four-year accredited college or university. Strong foundational knowledge in programming concepts, software engineering, and computer science principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new skills and contribute to challenging projects.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $21.00-$24.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
