Software Engineer

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Software Engineer at Skygen USA LLC in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin will assist lead engineers to develop, modify and maintain software applications for internal and external client use. Perform software design and coding according to SKYGEN and accepted secure coding patterns. Work collaboratively with internal resources to assess and understand technical specifications and business requirements for new systems. Maintain current modules, applications or processes in production. Actively participate on an Agile scrum team, sizing work efforts and decomposing functionality and iteratively delivering value. Develop unit testing. Triage production issues and affect solutions. Perform code spelunking. Conduct impact analysis for required changes. Investigate technologies and research for solutions related to architecture and requirements. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various sub systems and client communications. Assist in establishing feature estimates and timelines. Work collaboratively with internal team members on investigating and fixing defects. Mentor more junior software engineers. Telecommuting permissible from anywhere in the U.S. Salary: \$114,838 - \$172,258 per year. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field plus 4 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation. 4 years of experience must include 3 years of experience with each of the following: (1) SSIS/SSRS; (2) MS SQL Server and Transact-SQL; (3) Source Control and Workflow; (4) GitHub or Team Foundation Server (TFS); (5) System Design Life Cycle (SDLC); (6) Object Oriented Design; (7) ASP.NET Web Form Development and ASP.NET MVC Development; (8) Entity Framework; (9) EFCore; (10) API (RESTful) development; (11) C#, Java, and JavaScript; (12) Secure coding patterns; and (13) Visual Studio.
