Job Summary:
The Sr. Demand Analyst is a professional position responsible for developing and maintaining accurate sales plans, forecasts and detail demand plans for end-items, subassemblies, and component parts. The position is responsible for leading and facilitating the demand review process and performing forecasting activities on a regular basis. This position carries direct responsibility for performing relatively complex assignments that affect business operations to a moderate degree.
Essential Functions:
Administer and monitor monthly Demand Review process for assigned market segments.
Administer assigned market segment pre-demand reviews in a highly proficient manner.
Supply aggregated sales forecast input to the Crane Aerospace Sales Forecast/SIOP processes.
Track and explain forecast anomalies.
Incorporate industry sources and demand patterns to maintain effective forecast models.
Develop and improve forecasting/demand management tools and processes.
Participate as a team member in the annual sales plan process to create an Operations Sales Plan than can be achieved or exceeded.
Support the development of market outlooks and assumptions, aircraft build rate projections (i.e., rollouts), market analyses, etc.
Perform work with intermittent direction.
Interface productively and professionally with internal personnel
Support department goals and be a strong team player.
Any other task assigned by your supervisor or management
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Over 5 years' experience in forecasting/demand planning field in the Aerospace Industry. Experience in participating on continuous improvement initiatives. Leads demand activities as needed.
Knowledge: General understanding and application of industry principles, concepts, practices, and standards of the forecasting/demand planning in the Aerospace field.
Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge of Statistical Forecasting Software. Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Ability to work in a changing environment.
Education/Certification: BS degree in business or technical field or equivalent experience (equivalent experience requires 2 years applicable experience for each year of required education
Needs to be local to Burbank, CA or Lynnwood, WA - No Relocation

Salary range: $ 81,000.00-97,000.00 Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
