Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager with a strong background in manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in overseeing supply chain processes including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier management. Prior experience as a buyer at some point in their career is highly desirable and considered a strong bonus. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance cost, quality, and efficiency while ensuring timely delivery of materials and products.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, production planning, inventory, and distribution.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
Collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with production schedules and company goals.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Lead inventory management efforts, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
Oversee logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
Stay informed on market trends, supply chain risks, and regulatory requirements to proactively address challenges.
Mentor and develop supply chain staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

$100,000 - $130,000 a year
