Cable & Installation Technician - Low Voltage Specialist (Beaufort, SC)

Employer: TEKsystems (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Beaufort, SC

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM (4x10hr shifts)

Pay: $22-$35/hr (higher rates considered for extensive experience)

TEKsystems is hiring a Access Control Technician for a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity in the Beaufort, SC area. This role focuses on supporting school districts with structured cabling, security camera systems, and access control installations-providing reliable infrastructure where it matters most.

What You'll Be Doing:

Installing and servicing structured cabling, CCTV systems, and access control systems

Working primarily in school district facilities across Beaufort County

Ensuring clean, professional, and code-compliant installations

Troubleshooting and resolving low voltage system issues

Collaborating with a team to meet project timelines and quality standards

What We're Looking For:

Hands-on experience with low voltage systems (structured cabling, security cameras, access control)

Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented personality

Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions

Comfortable working second shift (3pm-2am, Mon-Thurs)

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
