Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This position is onsite at our La Grange, NC facility. Relocation is not provided for this role.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
This position is responsible for designing, implementing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes in the assembly and molding departments. The incumbent will lead and support research and development of new technologies and techniques, as well as coordinate new product launches.
In this role you will:
Monitor, improve, and maintain processes in area of responsibility
Develop safe work methods that result in a high level of quality and work balance, improved efficiency, and waste reduction
Identify cost reduction opportunities through waste analysis and process improvements
Create and update work instructions, process drawings, process alerts, routings, control plans, standard work, and related documents
Improve flow through manufacturing processes by balancing/improving capability of equipment and process steps
Champion Lean Manufacturing including A3, Value Stream Mapping, and set up reduction
Respond to corrective actions and drive continuous improvement
Conduct time studies and implement solutions for bottleneck improvements and line balancing
Lead project management of cross-functional teams, such as Safety, Controls, Maintenance, Material Delivery, and Operations for process changes and necessary training
Evaluate, update, and improve PFMEAs per APQP guidelines, work instructions, and job safety analysisDevelop and test improved fail-safe strategies through part design, 3D printing, and testing
Participate in capital planning, investigate equipment alternatives, prepare appropriation justifications, implement equipment, and evaluate results
Support goals related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of three (3) years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in molding industry
Previous experience with automation of manufacturing
Design experience using Solidworks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or related CAD systems.
Expertise in materials, tools, machines, and approaches for different molding technologies
Previous experience with Industry 4.0 and Microsoft advanced tools (PowerBI, PowerApps, Etc.)
Previous experience with CNC machining operations
SAP Super User accreditation
Design experience using Solidworks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or related CAD systems.
Understanding of PLC logic and controls, such as Siemens and Fanuc
