This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a strong, collaborative team in a role focusing on analysis with leadership and advancement opportunities on our Guideline Monitoring Technology team . This individual must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of assignments with people at all levels of the organization.
Keys to the position
7+ years with core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Multi-threaded applications, concurrency working with Java 11 or higher
React, AWS, and Sentinel are all nice to have.
Financial Services is a + Github Copilot experience is a + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be in the office 4 days a week.
Responsibilities
Contributing to design sessions
Establishing success criteria and anticipated outcomes to address requirements
Working collaboratively with architecture leads to address and close solution gaps.
Performance tuning, bug fixes and documentation
Performing code reviews for software engineering projects
Performing developer testing such as unit testing, integration testing and beta testing
Understanding cloud deployment models, leveraging Amazon Web Services
Developing direct relationships with end users and establishing a collaborative process to obtain feedback on solutions and share best practices.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
Strong client relationship skills and proven ability to build consensus
Experience working directly with business partners to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet those needs
Change agent, creative, innovative, and focused on continuous improvements
Self-motivated and willing to work in an energetic, fast paced team environment
Experience supporting critical production applications
Prior years of experience as a software engineer in the financial services industry
Object Oriented analysis, design and modeling
Designing and developing complex Java based systems and components using the Spring Framework
Integrating Java applications with relational databases (Oracle, query tuning & optimization)
Working with Java Virtual Machine, JVM tuning, Garbage Collection, optimizing multi-threaded applications
Effective application of Agile software development and testing methodologies
Analyzing and resolving systems issues and recommending and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence
Bachelor's degree is required
ReactJS and related UI technologies are a plus

The base salary range for this position is:
USD 80,000 - 180,000
This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salary is only one component of Wellington's total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
