Software Engineer II - PaaS

Qualtrics is seeking a Software Engineer in our Provo office to assist our PaaS team in creating a world-class digital-first customer experience. If you have a Bachelor's degree, have 5+ years of software engineering experience, and want to work at a fast-growing tech company, Qualtrics could be the place you've been dreaming about.
We run an automation platform that executes millions of workflows every day in real-time that are crucial to the health and success of our clients' experience management programs. We are a product team with high adoption and growth and are seeking engineers ready to tackle large-scale problems where optimization is key. As an xFlows Engineer, you will be solving critical problems that have an immediate impact on customers and partner teams across all of Qualtrics.

Things You'll Do
This role will primarily work with Typescript/React/Node/NestJS, as well as Aurora MySQL, S3, and PHP to develop scalable, fast, robust, and simple web-based solutions to solve complex business problems. Experience with Wordpress and/or Drupal is a plus.
Implement new features and optimize existing ones to drive maximum performance.
Work closely with and incorporate feedback from other engineers, tech-ops, and product managers.
Attend daily stand-up meetings, participate in Ops review, take part in design meetings, collaborate with your peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to customers.
What We're Looking For On Your Resume
Has worked with design and product teams to understand needs, propose features, create early proto@types, and transform them into exciting end-user features.
Has developed scalable, fast, robust, and rich web-based solutions to solve complex business problems, using the latest frontend and backend technologies.
Strong algorithms, data structures, and coding background.
Experience with continuous delivery, git, test automation, and build/deploy systems.
Experience building large-scale web applications or distributed services.
Experience building high-performance RESTful services.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
5+ years working in a full-stack web engineering position.
