Manufacturing Engineer - Shape the Future of Aerospace!

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Rocky Mount, NC. This role focuses on manufacturing engineering within an aftermarket shop environment, supporting repair and overhaul processes rather than design engineering. You'll play a critical role in creating repair instructions, supporting technicians in real time, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency.

What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Engineer , you will:

Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.

Apply engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, and machines.

Support fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.

Provide real-time support to technicians performing repair and overhaul processes.

Create and revise repair instructions, documentation, and tooling.

Improve process efficiency and support work scoping to reduce repair time.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, repair, and overhaul.

Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

VBA coding, test software, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheets, SAP).

Lean Six Sigma certification, Scrum Master, or Agile experience.

Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.

Ability to work under immediate supervision and follow pre-established guidelines.

Pay Rate: $38.00 - $47.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $38.00 to $47.00 per hour
