Shop Manager

Hendrick is seeking a Shop Manager for our Salem headquarters to be a
part of a small, fast-paced, collaborative team. This position will be
centered on general shipping experience, inventory control and shop
related duties reporting directly to Hendrick?s Production Managers. The
ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and have an ability
to work independently and be self-directed. Experience operating a
forklift and overhead crane is a plus. Duties will include, but are not
limited to: Shipping & Receiving: Pulls parts & fulfills sales orders
for shipment Assists in building crates and pallets for machinery
shipments Counts items received or shipped, recording discrepancies
Provide inventory support by notifying managers when running low on
parts Inspect, count, and receive all incoming shipments Maintain
backorder parts list Other Duties: Forklift and overhead crane operation
(training provided) Ongoing awareness to shop safety Operates hand
tools, power tools & production equipment Assist in maintaining shop
equipment Maintains cleanliness and organization of shipping office and
supply room Maintains shipping supplies Light duty building and property
maintenance Data entry for related duties Special projects as needed
Answering incoming phone calls and working with customers to fulfill
parts orders and shipments Final QC of machinery and preparing it for

\$52,000 - \$65,000 a year, negotiable dependent upon the candidate. The
position hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Hendrick
