Job Description

AECOM Tishman has an opportunity in our Midtown offices for a seasoned Financial Accountant.

Job Description:

Assists the Controller in the development and maintenance of planning and budgeting systems, the preparation of financial and management reports and procedures, the coordination of various internal and external audits, and the presentation of findings and specific recommendations to senior management.

Relies on thorough knowledge of finance and accounting rules, processes and techniques, along with a comprehensive understanding of legal requirements affecting financial and accounting transactions and record keeping.

Duties may also include training and managing other accounting staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS Finance, Accounting or similar curriculum and 6 years of accounting experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

6 years of financial accounting experience.

Experience with Oracle financials preferred.

Strong financial aptitude.

Financial accounting experience from a large organization inclusive of general ledger entries, reconciliation, month end activities, etc.

GAAP.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Prior construction industry experience is a plus.

Additional Information

This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

This position can be hybrid in the New York City metropolitan area.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $93,124 to $172,280.
