As a Final Inspector I with PCB Piezotronics, Inc, you are responsible for visually and mechanically inspecting components, accessories, detail parts and finished assemblies manufactured by or purchased for PCB. Maintains detailed records for ensuring lot traceability of materials by manufacturing. Responsible for maintaining system in accordance with procedures. Continuously improves the inspection processes in PCB's Finished Product Inspection Laboratory.

Additional Duties:

Uses observation and testing to identify faults in materials and manufacturing process.

Inspects and records finished products, components, accessories and material for visual, mechanical and electrical defects and other applicable specifications, per department procedures and process, for compliance to requirements and deliveries to end users.

Compares results of inspections and tests to company's quality standards; reports results to supervisor for final analysis and action steps.

Generates, updates and maintains records of quality control documentation such as Rejected Material documentation and handling, acceptance test requirements for products inspected, customer certificates, and traceability to inspected items. Accurately maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/ BSD) software for final inspection process.

Knows and uses current procedures for processing components during inspection process and other required daily activities in department.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High school graduate or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of inspection experience

Adequate knowledge of measurement and test equipment, use of go-no-go gages and test fixtures.

Basic computer aptitude of Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel.

Basic blueprint reading skill.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Eye Test: Jaeger Card; J2 or better, measured at a distance of 16 inches or greater; minimum 20/30 required in both eyes with or without corrective lenses.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations

This position requires access to "controlled technology" as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730 et. seq.) and "technical data" as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
