What You'll Do
As an Inbound/Receiving Support Clerk, you'll provide help in coordinating the transportation of materials and finished products while servicing our customers by creating shipments based on multiple needs for Northlake, TX.
Essential Duties:
Coordinate Inbound Shipments : Work closely with the transportation department to coordinate inbound shipments.
Scheduling : Schedule inbound appointment times with carriers.
Collaboration : Work closely with the receiving lead to determine what work needs to be picked, loaded, etc.
Order Status Inquiry : Perform order status inquiries for all completed orders.
Carrier Follow-Up : Follow up with carriers for inbound appointments.
Relationship Management : Maintain professional relationships with carriers and other customers/peers.
Prepare Palletization Folders : Prepare inbound palletization folders for receiving upon arrival.
Yard Audits : Complete daily yard audits and resolve visibility barriers.
Additional Duties :
Work closely with the receiving team and transportation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Who You Are

A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with some college coursework preferred.
1-2 years of experience in distribution or warehouse environments.
Proficiency with WMS or similar distribution software.
Stellar interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train others effectively.
Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and the ability to operate standard office equipment (fax, copier, printers, computer, etc.).
A readiness to embrace and drive change as a change advocate.
Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and planning/organizing abilities.
Resilience to work in environments occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures.
Flexibility, a self-starter mentality, and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
