Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Lynnwood, Washington. This long-term contract position offers a great opportunity to apply your expertise in accounts payable operations within the aerospace industry. The role requires someone who is highly attentive to detail and capable of managing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

Process and prepare invoices and debit memos for supplier payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Maintain and update vendor records, including banking details and other pertinent information.

Reconcile accounts and balance records to ensure proper financial tracking and reporting.

Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.

Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and address inquiries.

Support departmental initiatives and contribute to process improvement efforts.

Execute tasks assigned by supervisors or management in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during all financial operations. Requirements - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

Familiarity with accounts payable systems and processes.

Must meet eligibility requirements for access to Controlled Data or Information as mandated by ITAR regulations.
