PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Sr. Director, Site Supply Chain & Logistics, is responsible for all supply chain functions at the Bothell Cell Therapy manufacturing facility (CAR-T Therapies) and reports directly to the Site Head. The role oversees a team managing patient supply, production planning, material planning, materials management, inventory control, product tracking, import/export permits, shipping/receiving, and cold chain logistics for cell therapies manufactured at the Bothell commercial and clinical site.
As part of the site leadership team, the candidate contributes to establishing strategic direction for the facility in alignment with corporate objectives, including transitioning the site to commercial operations and launching new products. The position is accountable for overall strategy and vision for the site's long-term plan, assessing demand and usage requirements across operating functions. This role collaborates with the Global Supply Chain network, following guidance on capacity and demand, and providing site-level insights.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing employee development, maintaining workplace culture, and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the site's supply chain organization.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field with a Masters or MBA preferred.
Experience:
15 or more years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, science and technology, manufacturing systems, and/or quality assurance.
· 5+ years in senior management position
· 5+ years specifically in Supply Chain organization with experience in either production planning, materials procurement, and/or SAP and ERP Systems.
· Intermediate knowledge of cGMP Regulations
· Cross functional and network experience.
Skills & Abilities:
· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills at all levels of the organization; excellent presentation skills, both material creation and delivery
· Ability to present data and analyses in an organized, clear, and concise manner
· Ability to understand and solve complicated supply and demand problems
· Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and to develop and maintain strong business partner relationships.
· Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), supply planning methodologies, materials management, and GMP compliance.
· Demonstrated record with driving continuous improvement and fostering an operational excellence culture.
· Proven leadership ability to carry out difficult decisions in a logical, rational manner, and demonstrated ability to work as a site leadership team member and to engage and influence team members in a matrixed environment.
· Ability to lead both direct reports and cross-functional teams; strong situational leadership skills, ability to lead staff at all levels of the organization. Ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff
· Financial management exposure, awareness, and strong acumen
· Direct experience with S&OP and S&OE processes and materials requirements planning
Travel Requirements
Some travel required for site visits and team building across the network
Licenses/Certifications:
Preferred - Certification in APICS CPIM, CSCP, SCOR-P
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leading the Supply Chain & Logistsic Team at the Bothell site to include:
· Managing the teams responsible for all warehouse operations, production planning & scheduling, material management and ERP systems.
· Ensure material availability to meet patient schedules, proactively manage risks, and maintain on-time, in-full delivery.
· Support and influence network capacity planning, ensuring the network needs are aligned with site capabilities and ensure clinical and commercial readiness.
· Hiring, mentoring, and developing exceptional people.
· Championing a culture of exceptional teamwork and communication.
· Building effective cross-functional relationships.
· Maintaining a safety-focused culture for employees and patients by following company procedures, policies, and cGMP requirements.
Establishing continuous improvement and right first-time mindset.
Ensuring that the required initial and continuing training of the department personnel is carried out
and adapted according to need.
Builds positive working relationships across the network, can effectively motivate and influence partners and executive management to resolve issues at local and network wide level.
Represent the site in global forums to shape policy, drive standardization, and influence strategic supply chain decisions.

Compensation Overview:
Bothell - WA - US: $240,750 - $291,727
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
