JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Key Responsibilities: Own and manage
theengineering attribute schemaacross SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM,
ensuring consistency, traceability, and usability. Define and
maintainattribute rules, mappings, and linkagesbetween CAD models, PDM
metadata, and CPQ systems. Collaborate with engineering, sales, and IT
teams to ensure accurate and timely data flow between design and quoting
platforms. Lead projects to enhance SolidWorks and PDM workflows,
including automation, template standardization, and lifecycle
management. Support and improve the integration between SolidWorks PDM
and CPQ tools, ensuring that product configurations and options are
accurately represented. Develop and maintain documentation, training
materials, and best practices for attribute and system management.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CAD data, PDM workflows, and
attribute synchronization. Stay current with SolidWorks and PDM updates,
and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed. Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering,
Systems Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience with
SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM in a professional engineering environment.
Experience with CPQ systems and their integration with engineering data
(e.g., Tacton, Salesforce CPQ, or similar). Skills: Deep understanding
of SolidWorks configurations, custom properties, and design automation.
Strong knowledge of PDM workflows, data cards, and attribute mapping.
Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PDM API, VBA,
PowerShell) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and
cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple
projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred
Qualifications: Experience with ERP integration and BOM management.
