Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time About the role: As an R&D Sustaining Engineering Intern, your role is focused on optimizing and sustaining commercial products that diagnose and treat peripheral vascular disease. Your responsibilities will include: As a Sustaining R&D Intern at Boston Scientific, you may perform work in the following areas: Design and Testing: Assist in design change activities to improve or maintain supply of commercial products including solution strategy, conducting feasibility studies, and performing testing. Problem-Solving and Compliance: Support investigations into failure modes, perform root cause analyses, and develop solutions to address technical challenges. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, marketing, design assurance, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure successful project execution. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review engineering documentation, including design change analysis, technical reports, design history files, and regulatory submissions. Present project updates and technical insights to engineers and managers.
