The Worldwide Events Team is seeking a dynamic Manager, Production Operations to be part of our Production Services group. This group works with several teams across the company to bring Apple's iconic brand and products to life for audiences around the world. From new launches and keynotes, to live productions and hands-on experiences, this team is charged with managing the planning, end-to-end production, guest journeys, and unique details that make these events special.

As part of the Worldwide Events team's Production Services group, the Manager, Production Operations will play a pivotal role in leading a core team that plans and implements operations and logistics for key Apple events and productions. This is an opportunity to be a part of an exceptionally hardworking team whose charter is to create, execute, and innovate shared event and filmed experiences. As a leader on the Production Services team within Worldwide Events, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing best practices and operational excellence for our live events and filmed content experiences. Responsibilities
Lead and grow an exceptional team of production operations leads and coordinators
Drive operational excellence and leadership to the forefront through key initiatives including:
Lead operational planning and execution.
Serve onsite as operational leadership for site-specific productions during production load-in, filming, event days, and load-out.
Manage core team functions including operational processes, team scheduling, and team budget.
Manage day-to-day operational requests and advance proper approvals/routing within the Apple ecosystem.
Manage team operational planning documentation including but not limited to production schedules, site maps, operational keynote presentations, permitting plans, etc.
Lead crew operation initiatives including crew flow planning, site plans, and database management.
Manage budget components of production operations spend across multiple project @types alongside the planning and budget team.
Lead the vendor procurement process in core operational areas by creating, editing, and managing production operations RFPs.
Manage specific vendor relations as it pertains to operational scopes.
Work closely with our Worldwide Events team members and cross-functional partners in Marcom, Places, PR, Global Security, Finance, Procurement, and Product Marketing to bring innovative and curated experiences to life for our external guests and employees.
Travel may be required both regionally and internationally.
Minimum Qualifications
9+ years experience with a proven track record in event production and/or operations, with a minimum of 5+ years managing high-performing teams of 3 or more team members.
Experience leading live events and/or film/theatrical productions.
Organizational expertise in creating and carrying out high-level operational plans for high-profile events that can be replicated across multiple areas.
Preferred Qualifications
This role requires positive relationships with production vendors and cross-functional partners, ultimately crafting tactical plans that can be scalable across all event @types.
Experience negotiating and building strong relationships with external vendors.
Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
Ability to lead several vendor relationships during any given period.
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization.
Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient.
Degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience preferred.
Competency in AutoCAD is a plus.
Works well within a team and understands team dynamics.
Flexibility to work as required to fulfill business needs.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $154,000 and $231,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
