About The Role The Treasury Sales Specialist is responsible for assisting the Senior Treasury Manager in developing new business, expansion of existing business relationships and delivery of Treasury Management services to new and existing customers. Incumbent is also responsible for day-to-day servicing of clients and account maintenance. Incumbent will serve as a key contact person for Treasury Management customers. The Treasury Sales Specialist will have a working knowledge of the products and services designed for business customers and will perform customer setups on the system, implementation and onboarding, and ongoing support.Employee will have extensive contact with customers, vendors, the public, and bank staff and will interact in a professional and courteous manner and conduct him/herself in such relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall efficiency and image of the bank.Essential Functions:- Assists Senior Treasury Manager in developing, implementing, and monitoring relationship building and call strategies that support the increase in deposits and commercial deposit relationships.- Determines client treasury management needs, explains various banking services offered, prepares and processes documentation for new client bank transactions and ongoing customer support, including but not limited to opening new accounts, closing accounts, transfers, deposits and withdrawals, account title changes, address changes, etc. communicates status of transactions to clients and associated bank staff.- Assists the Senior Treasury Manager, leadership, commercial lenders, and branch managers in the analysis and evaluation of potential and existing business banking and treasury management solutions and services and setting up joint consultation process- Provides internal and external support to include direct contact with customers in an insightful and responsive manner to meet the customer's needs.- Prepares client proposals and complete customer follow up to ensure customer satisfaction- Maintains a comprehensive working knowledge of treasury management products and services- Assists with internal and external Treasury Management product training- Works with Treasury Manager to assess impact, risks, and benefits associated with potential solutions.- Other duties as assigned.Additional Responsibilities- Service Quality - embrace service pledge and provide extraordinary and consistent service to all internal and external customers. Listens to and asks about customer's needs.- Participates in required training, staff meetings, and lobby displays.- Participate in Community Service and Bank-sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of Glacier Bank.- Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel).- Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frame(s).- Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.- Represent Glacier Bank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive "can-do" attitude, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.- Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy.- Consistently maintains regular and reliable attendance.- Additional duties as requested or assigned.
