Permit Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Administrative Permit Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting construction projects by managing the permitting process from start to finish. This position ensures that all necessary permits are obtained in a timely manner, maintains accurate records, and communicates effectively with municipalities, contractors, and internal teams to keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities:

Permit Management:

Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies.

Track the status of permit applications and follow up to ensure timely approvals.

Maintain a comprehensive database of all permits, including expiration dates and renewal requirements.

Documentation & Compliance:

Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather necessary documentation.

Review plans and applications for completeness and accuracy before submission.

Communication & Coordination:

Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and permitting authorities.

Liaise with city officials, inspectors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues or expedite approvals.

Provide regular updates to project teams regarding permit status and potential delays.

Administrative Support:

Organize and maintain digital and physical files related to permitting.

Assist with scheduling inspections and coordinating with field teams.

Prepare reports and summaries for management on permitting activities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
