SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT SR PRINCIPAL
Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Solutions Architect Sr Principal at GDIT. Here, you'll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Solutions Architect Sr Principal, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of Customs and Border Protection. You will play a crucial role in leading the technical team support Border Patrol surveillance and technology programs.
? Lead/Support an experienced and high-performing technical team
? Collaborate with customer decision makers and industry to bring relavant solutions to customer problems
? Drive new busines through development of technical solutions, maintain program performance through sound technical judgment
? Utilize knowledge of border sensors, cyber, system test and communication systems to support customer solutions
? Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing Information and Operational Technology (OT and IT) systems
? Provide technical multi-domain leadership and systems integration expertise in support of customer's critical mission capabilities
?The Solutions Architect Sr Principal is responsible for technical coordination of Power Systems, Structural Engineering, Communication and Network Engineering, Subject Matter Experts while incorporating their own expertise to resolve technical challenges to include requirements and dependency management, through collaborative problem solving with all relevant stakeholders.
? Support market growth efforts as a subject matter expert in systems engineering and integration on proposal development.
? Work alongside a team of diverse functional subject matter experts to include Project/Program managers, contract capture teams, technologists, and leadership.
? Lead a small team of field technologists to build, field, and maintain CBP deployed capabilities
? Communicating with program, portfolio, and government leadership on technical status with an understanding of costs and schedule constraints.
? Drive technical and process innovation into solutions creating a culture of innovation through practical roadmaps and planning.
? Provide Cyber and Information Assurance leadership to the portfolio and program.

? Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
? Experience: 10+ years of related experience
? Technical skills: systems integration, system test, cyber, cloud, communication systems
? Security clearance level: DHS-CBP Background Investigation is required
? US citizenship required

The likely salary range for this position is $166,600 - $225,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

To encourage work/life balance, GDIT offers employees full flex work weeks where possible and a variety of paid time off plans, including vacation, sick and personal time, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement and jury duty leave. GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
