Summary You will serve as a Chemist in the Regional Fuels Office at COMMANDER NAVY REGION MARIANAS. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 11.88% will be added to the stated salary. Responsibilities You will provide petroleum technical support in the areas of quality assurance, operations, inventory control, requirements development and facilities management. You will maintain technical supervision of the Laboratory Quality Control (QC) program. You will evaluate test results against requirements and specifications and prepare clear and concise lab reports which require the manipulations of database elements, preparation of spreadsheets, and statistical analysis of data. You will apply technical and specification requirements during investigations of off-specification materials and conduct specialized testing or research projects. You will ensure compliance by setting standards, developing procedures, reviewing site level compliance, and generating management reports.
