Duties
Help
You will be responsible to the supervisor for providing on-the-job technical guidance and leadership to a work group of employees working on a major project.
You will instruct subordinates on any unusual work steps or requirements and explains directives and instructions received from higher supervisory levels.
You will assign, pass on instructions to the work group, lead in laying out group work, and perform the more difficult tasks.
You will keep the supervisor informed of progress, operating problems, causes of delays, etc.
You will review assigned Job orders, plans and specification, and pass on instructions and take the lead in laying out work assignments.
You will provide on-the-job training for new employees.
You will resolve any problem that may arise such as ambiguous aspects of the JO/JIC specifications and plans.

This is a bargaining unit position.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
