Position Description:
The Marketing Communications Specialist plays a key role in developing and executing the external communications and brand content strategy for our organization. Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications and Content, this position owns development of high-impact content that supports our marketing and business objectives, strengthens brand voice and engages key external audiences across multiple brands and channels. This role requires strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, agencies and brand managers to ensure alignment, consistency and quality across all messaging touchpoints. It requires a strong blend of storytelling, project coordination and quality control to ensure that all communications align with our brand standards, messaging strategy and business goals.
This role will develop content to support marketing campaigns including white papers, blog posts, case studies, articles, email and social media content, as well as additional internal and external communications as needed. All content should be stylized to inform and engage the appropriate audience, while maintaining brand voice, ensuring accurate information and following communications guidelines. They track metrics and trends, propose improvements and collaborate to drive the execution of marketing content & communications strategy for the company and the go-to-market brands. This role may also assist with internal communication as needed to support marketing and business objectives.
This role operates cross-functionally with various departments and key stakeholders to gather information and drive the content development process. This role also manages relationships and workflows with various external agencies as needed for content development support. This person in this role must be able to manage multiple requests and tasks simultaneously while paying close attention to detail to ensure all messaging is consistent and in alignment with marketing and communications strategy, as well as company branding, mission, vision and values. This position handles sensitive information and must be able to maintain confidentiality.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of brand-aligned messaging across platforms and audiences.
Collaborate with the brand managers to bring brand narratives to life through compelling content.
Manage content workflows across internal stakeholders, agency partners and distribution channels.
Create, review and edit marketing materials to ensure consistency in tone, style and brand standards.
Manage and maintain integrated content calendars in partnership with brand managers.
Drive timely execution of deliverables and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Assist in developing and distributing corporate press releases, executive communications, and internal announcements.
Support thought leadership initiatives, including workflows, writing, editing and content distribution.
Collaborate with brand managers on communication performance tracking, including A/B testing, engagement analysis and reporting insights.
Provide recommendations for content optimization based on data.
Manage organic social media content and scheduling for corporate and brand accounts (e.g., Infinite Electronics + go-to-market brands).
Monitor performance, engage with audiences and support ongoing social listening initiatives.
Assist with the preparation and execution of crisis communication plans and reactive statements, ensuring timely and appropriate messaging.
Support content development and communication planning around key corporate events and tradeshows.
Assist in the execution of communications related to mergers and acquisitions, both internal and external.
Assist in other internal and external communications related activities as needed to support marketing department projects and business objectives.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field-or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of experience in marketing communications, public relations, corporate communications, or brand content roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling and proofreading skills.
Strong understanding of content strategy and digital channels (including social media).
Proficient with tools like Microsoft Office, project management platforms, and social media publishing tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and deadline-driven.
Strategic perspective using data to inform and improve communication strategies.
High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
Experience working in a B2B or technology-driven industry.
Familiarity with media monitoring or social listening tools.
Knowledge of AP style or corporate brand style guides.
Agency or in-house hybrid experience is a plus.

Environment: Work environment is typically an office environment during normal or extended business hours.
