Summary The position is located in Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS), Medical Administration Service (MAS), Support Services Sections, Temple and Waco, and is responsible for providing service to all Veterans and staff. The purpose of the position is to serve as a Telephone Operator. Responsibilities Major duties include but are not limited to: Provide telephone operator service in a 24 hour, seven days a week, 365 days per year operation. General office support, which encompasses a variety of different duties and responsibilities Operates the agency telephone system/switchboard to receive and connect incoming and outgoing calls. Wide variety of administrative tasks associated with maintaining and supporting the work performed within the organization Performs work involving the collection, compilation, and/or tracking of data and statistical information in support of CTVHCS switchboard, paging and alarm operations.
