Overview:

Shankar Distillers is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in coordinating events, managing sales support activities, and enhancing our brand presence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the liquor industry, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong background in event planning and sales support.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in event planning and sales support, preferably in the liquor or beverage industry.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events

Job Description:

Event Planning and Coordination:

Plan and schedule liquor tasting events at various locations, such as retail outlets, bars, restaurants, or private venues.

Coordinate with vendors, brand representatives, and event venues to ensure all requirements are met.

Product Presentation:

Set up tasting stations with proper branding and product displays.

Present the liquor's unique flavors, history, and production processes to participants.

Engage with attendees to answer questions and provide product recommendations.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all events adhere to local liquor laws and regulations.

Monitor responsible consumption during events and enforce age verification policies.
