As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed post, where your professionalism and attention to detail are critical in handling security-related matters with care and respect. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, assist with access control, and communicate clearly with all individuals on site. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address security-related questions and concerns.
Assist with crowd control and/or traffic flow as required within the healthcare environment.
Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent GED as required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
