Job Description:

NETWORK SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Network Solutions Architect SME at GDIT. Here, you'll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation.

As a Network Solutions Architect SME, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the customer. You will play a crucial role in supporting our customer and their missions, providing guidance and implementation of network configurations.

? Lead/Manage/Support network architecture to best support the customers needs.

? Collaborate with several of the projects requirements across a vast array of equipment.

?? Develop and maintain a complex Services and MPLS network across multiple platforms and vendors. VMWare, Cisco devices, VLANs, Network Address Translation, Splunk, are just a few devices and tools at your disposal.

? Attend meetings with the customer to help drive them to mission success based on their requirements.

? Drive key outcomes and innovations.

? Utilize your networking and problem solving skills.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Network Solutions Architect SME must have:

? Education: Bachelor of Science

? Experience: 15+ years of related experience

? Technical skills: Cisco, Juniper, and other @types of switches and routers, Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS, VMWare, ASA, VPN, NAT, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, numerous test sets, Telecommunications equipment, VoIP, Cisco Call Manager, Intrusion Detection Systems, Snort, SolarWinds, Splunk

? Security clearance level: TS//SCI with Full Scope Poly

? US citizenship required

? Role requirements: Must be able to lead and guide a small team, work well with others, demonstrate the ability to change direction based on new requirements.

? Flexibility: There is no option for remote work with this position. However, the location has flexible work hours with an option to work a 9/80 work schedule, with the off day being a Friday. Core working hours are 8a to 4p.

The likely salary range for this position is $191,250 - $258,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
