Position OverviewUnited Health Services (UHS) is seeking an Estimates Analyst to support our Revenue Cycle team in delivering accurate, data-driven cost estimates for healthcare services. In this role, you will collect and analyze charge and reimbursement data, prepare estimates, and ensure compliance with federal and state price transparency regulations. You'll serve as a subject matter expert on pricing workflows and system functionality, supporting one or more applications and collaborating closely with the Epic Application Analyst.

$25.27 - $37.90 per hour, depending on experience
Job Responsibilities:
Support the Revenue Cycle team by ensuring the accurate and consumer-friendly display of shoppable services in compliance with applicable regulations.
Collect and validate data related to hospital services, charges, and payer-specific negotiated prices to maintain the accuracy of patient cost estimates.
Prepare timely and precise patient cost estimates for surgical procedures, hospital outpatient services, and physician practice services, adhering to federal and state regulations.
Collaborate with system users to identify issues, gather requirements, and develop or recommend solutions to improve estimating workflows and system functionality.
Provide training and ongoing support to staff regarding the use and understanding of consumer-friendly shoppable services tools.
Generate monthly accuracy reports and data analyses for leadership to monitor the quality and effectiveness of cost estimates.
Identify and recommend enhancements to the system's capabilities for automatically generating accurate patient estimates.
Assist in supporting system upgrades and enhancements to ensure continued compliance and operational efficiency within the Revenue Cycle.

Minimum Required:
High School Diploma and four (4) years of healthcare operations (clinical, patient care, administrative or revenue cycle), information technology or health information technology experience
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (information technology or clinical/healthcare fields) preferred.
Epic experience
Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification or equivalent certification
