Medical Receptionist

Position OverviewA medical receptionist is the customer service liaison to each of our practices. The medical receptionist greets each patient with courtesy and respect using exceptional communication skills. The purpose of this position is to provide our patients with a seamless experience while following all UHS Policies regarding registration, scheduling, insurance verification and billing.

This position is for the UHS Virtual Health department, but it is an in-person position, in the Vestal 3 building at 4401 Vestal Parkway E next to Texas Roadhouse.

This position will support the Hospital Care at Home and Virtual Walk-In programs.

$17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Previous medical, administrative and customer service experience

Excellent PC skills

Knowledge of Medical Terminology
