Location: Saint Petersburg, FloridaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $50 - 60 per hourWe're looking for a skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to join a leading company in the financial industry. In this fully remote contract role, you'll manage a variety of strategic campaigns and tactical communications, playing a key part in new product launches and the creation of essential sales assets. This is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact within a dynamic marketing team. Expected duration through to the end of the year, with possibility to extend as business allows.Responsibilities:

As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will develop and manage strategic campaigns and tactical communications to support sales, client service, and brand promotion.

You'll assist in creating product positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with target audiences and help implement go-to-market plans for new products.

A typical day will involve crafting and updating sales assets like pitch decks and web content, coordinating projects to meet deadlines, and providing general marketing support for various activities and events.

You'll also help train sales teams on product knowledge to accelerate sales cycles and drive business growth.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing or communications, ideally within health plans, benefits insurance, or a related field.

A BA, BS, or an equivalent degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline. An advanced professional degree is a plus.

Experience with copyright is a plus.

Skills:

Exceptional Communication Skills: You should be able to clearly and effectively convey ideas, both verbally and in writing.

Strong Attention to Detail: The ability to notice small but important details is essential for creating high-quality, professional-level work.

Excellent Project Management: You should be able to manage multiple projects at once and ensure they are completed accurately and on time.
