Administrative Assistant - Per Diem, Morristown Medical Center, NJ

Responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation for the administrative duties. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Familiar with an EMR. Effectively communicates via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

This is a Per Diem position, requiring at least 1 shift per week, with the expectation to work 2-3 shifts if needed

Hours between 8AM-5PM

Principal Accountabilities:

Organizes and schedules patient procedures,

Produces and distributes correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.

Assists in the preparation of monthly statistical data and meets deadlines.

Develops and maintains a filing system.

Provides general support to patients and families and provides information by answering questions and requests.

Creates reports as needed.

Answers all calls professionally and in a timely manner.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Multitask

Team Player with a positive professional attitude.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a physician's office, hospital or relevant area.
