Your Key Responsibilities

The Accelerated Leadership Program is comprised of four six-month rotations that provide cross-departmental exposure. Each rotation can be located at any of our facilities throughout the North American Region (USA, Mexico and Canada), including the possibility for other international rotations. The first rotation will start in Wooster, Ohio. Upon graduation of the program, a permanent position as a Sustainable Product Engineer in Wooster, Ohio is guaranteed.

Research & Development Career Path Responsibilities:

Partner with a mentor who is an experienced professional leader to develop best practices and evolve into a leader at Schaeffler

Gain knowledge alongside experts in relevant and cross-functional departments while focusing on improving the sustainability of electric drivetrains during product development

Trained based on the 70:20:10 model which emphasizes a mixture of hands-on experience, mentoring, and formal training

Leadership training and tools to develop leadership skills

Complete rotation development milestones

Company housing for the duration of the program (two years) and a competitive salary and benefits

Become equipped for your guaranteed position upon graduation

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering or related field

Strong understanding and interest in sustainability

3.0 minimum GPA

At least two rotations of relevant co-ops or internships

Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred

Leadership experience or exposure preferred

Engineering competence for electric drivetrain and product design in the scope of sustainability

Excellent Organization and Communication skills

Project Management skills

Strong Microsoft Office skills

Willingness to relocate every 6 months
