Administrative Clerk - Job Description

Location: Geneva, NY

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Position Summary:

The Administrative Clerk provides essential support to the daily operations of the office by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role is responsible for managing incoming communications, scheduling appointments, and assisting with general office duties to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner

Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars for staff and management

Greet and assist visitors, clients, or vendors as needed

Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and physical documents

Perform data entry and update records accurately

Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports

Assist with ordering office supplies and managing inventory

Support other departments with administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional office administration training is a plus

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Friendly and professional demeanor
