Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil or Mechanical Engineering Telecom Co-Op - May-Dec 2026 in one of the below posting locations. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers on energy and utility projects.

Posting Locations for this role: Frisco, TX; Lisle, IL; St. Louis, MO

*Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance not available for this position.

Job Activities:

Conceptual through final design and record drawings of utility lines and related facilities

Field visits to collect data and evaluate existing, pre-design conditions

Construction documents and administration

Cost estimating

Material specifications

General project and office support

Specific Requirements include:

Pursuing a BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum

Willing to work full-time during the spring semester and summer from May - December 2026

Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project

Excellent Communication skills

Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver's license

MicroStation or AutoCAD experience or exposure is preferred, but not required

Salary Range: $20 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
