Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join a recognized, global organization at their Charleroi, PA site. This role involves establishing relationships and interacting with employees to provide assistance with human resource questions, fostering a positive work environment. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for HR systems and issues and assist with various HR-related tasks.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain relationships with employees, providing assistance on HR-related queries.

Serve as the initial point of contact for HR systems and issues.

Assist with weekly payroll processing as needed.

Coordinate new hire paperwork and orientation meetings.

Track absenteeism using the shop floor call-off line.

Provide support and guidance on HR requests, employee onboarding, data maintenance, and troubleshooting pay and benefits issues.

Run, build, and analyze reports using HR reporting tools.

Provide guidance on Workday, HR fundamentals, processes, and the employee Worklife site.

Coordinate shift changes and employee moves, updating Workday/ADP accordingly.

Ensure employee data accuracy in Workday and update as necessary.

Collaborate with HR on projects to enhance the employee experience.

Assist in recruiting for hourly open roles as required.

Support the department with other HR data and business requests.

Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost care.

Essential Skills

6+ years of experience as an Administrative or Executive Assistant, preferably in HR.

Strong communication skills and ability to interact with employees.

Proficiency in ADP and Workday is preferred.

Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience in human resources, administrative support, and employee relations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a possible start time of 7:30 AM on Mondays. The role requires working fully onsite.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
