CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. The Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of an organization's IT department, ensuring efficient and reliable IT services. This role involves managing IT staff, implementing and maintaining IT systems, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

This position is located in Arlington, VA; however a hybrid model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Team Management:
o Leading and mentoring IT staff, including technicians, engineers, and support personnel.
o Assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
o Managing the hiring process and fostering a positive work environment.
Infrastructure Management:
o Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, data centers).
o Ensuring system availability, reliability, and security.
o Managing hardware and software installations, upgrades, and configurations.
System Monitoring and Maintenance:
o Monitoring system performance and proactively addressing issues.
o Managing incidents, service requests, and problem resolution.
o Ensuring data backup, security, and compliance with policies.
Budget and Vendor Management:
o Managing the IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
o Collaborating with vendors for procurement, implementation, and support.
o Negotiating contracts and managing licenses.
Policy and Compliance:
o Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
o Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Other Responsibilities:
o Working with other departments to align IT with business needs.
o Developing and implementing IT initiatives and projects.
o Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
o Providing support and guidance to stakeholders.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or 5 to 8 years of experience
Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience in IT operations, project management, and budget management.
Proficiency in IT systems, networking, and security.
Knowledge of ITIL framework (optional).
Experience in a management role (typically 3+ years).

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $214,800.00.
