The Alternate Rate Transfer Ctr RN facilitates communication between sending and receiving facilities, including the use of telephone, computer software, and other communication and documentation tools. Documents a record of the encounter. Utilizes clinical expertise, critical thinking, and demonstrated knowledge of unit-specific admission and discharge criteria.

RN graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting.

NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required

AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP required

BSN preferred

Transfer center experience preferred

Critical care and emergency medical services experience preferred

Flat Rate of $70.18 Hourly

Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization.

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
