Job Title: Avionics Technician

Job Description

Aerotek Aviation is currently hiring skilled Avionics Technician to join our client's dynamic repair station's newest location in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Our client specializes in in the maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification of Corporate Jets - primarily Gulfstream and Bombardier models. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for avionics installations, troubleshooting and modifications on corporate aircraft - you will be working primarily with Honeywell Avionics systems but will also be exposed to Garmin and other models.

Responsibilities

Perform avionics installations on corporate aircraft.

Troubleshoot avionics systems to ensure proper functionality.

Conduct repair and overhaul tasks on aircraft wiring and electronics.

Utilize own tools to complete assignments efficiently.

Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

Essential Skills

Minimum 3+ years of experience in avionics.

Experience with corporate jets is preferred.

Gulfstream or Honeywell Avionics experience is highly preferred

Ability to work on military, corporate, and helicopter aircraft.

Proficiency in avionics installation, repair, troubleshooting and modifications.

Work Environment

MRO Hangar Environment

1st Shift either Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday (10-hour shifts)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $55.00/hr.
