Your future starts here. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: This position covers a 70-mile area of territory from Peuwaukee, WI to Rondout, IL, with limited overnight travel. This is a Class 4, double main freight and passenger line. This territory includes one interlocking diamond and two moveable bridges.As a Roadmaster you will directly provide and ensure oversight and compliance with corporate policy and regulatory engineering standards. Provide leadership accountability for input/output of safety, service, productivity and financial metrics. Ensures the application of CPKC safety practices, policies and procedures by all direct union reports. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: Direct, coordinate, and/or implementemergency response to service interruptions and implement seasonal plans Leadunion employees within the terms of the collective agreement and assists in handling corrective actions, disputes and grievances Accountable for current year execution and provides information, recommendations, and validation for scope of work documents, annual/multi-year capital planning priorities Provide oversight of engineering materials and accurate inventory Ensure CPKC is aligned with all Federal Railroad Administration regulatory processes POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or general equivalency Valid driver\'s license On call every 3rd to 4th weekend for coverage 5 years\' proven experience in track maintenance & renewal 2 years\' experience leading Track Renewal crews such as Rail Tie crews Complete understanding of Railway Track Safety Rules Knowledge and full comprehension of Collective Agreement language People leadership WHAT CPKC HAS TO OFFER: Flexible and competitive benefits package Competitive company pension and/or retirement plans Employee share purchase lan Performance incentive plan Annual fitness subsidy Part-time studies program PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Medical and Drug...
