As a Unarmed Security Guard - Hotel Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .
As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a distinguished hospitality location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to guests and staff. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will be the first point of contact for any security-related concerns, responding promptly and professionally while upholding the values of agility, reliability, and innovation. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during shifts.
Support a welcoming environment for guests and staff by providing assistance and information as needed.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
A Guard Card is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
